Hello Juniper Lee wiki community! I saw that some people are still uploading nameless/gibberish name images onto the wiki. One person in particular who I have told multiple times that it would be better if files had proper names (@Pasquale Ciicarelli ) So here's some discussion and maybe "boundaries" for all of us.

• Ideally, each article could have at least 1-2 images, one image for their profile and an extra. If it's about a topic like an actor who has a wiki page already or some list, it does not always need and image. Prioritize characters or items/objects.

• Please do not re-post from tumblr. I already have screenshots of better quality from these and have made my choice with many of them. You can instead choose to link those tumblr posts on the Forums/Discussion here.

• Ideally, we do not post images that are already very familiar to each other. That's why I haven't posted my own screenshots from numerous episodes, because there so many frames in one animation shot and not all those frames need to be added! Only the ones that will be used in an article or have something important to show about the subject of the screenshot.

• If there are less than 10 images for an episode, it does not need a separate image gallery because the original article itself is easy to still browse.

• And finally, images should have proper names to make them easier to find and use for all editors across the wiki.

I know other wikis sometimes let their users do this and if this wiki only had one user, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But I know for a fact that other people use this wiki for references or general info about this show. How would we be better from those random users who vandalize or those other wikis that just don't care, if we don't upkeep some sort of quality? If we don't name our files and take care to pay attention to making the wiki friendly to use (by not overloading it with un-necessary images or info, not putting false info into articles etc), this wiki will soon become unusable to editor and reader alike.

To summarize:

• There could be 1-2 images for each article, but not all articles need images.

• Do not re-post tumblr images as I have better-quality versions or I have already made my choice of them. Tumblr posts can be linked on the Discussion board here.

• Ideally, we don't upload images that are very very similar to each other. In that case, it would be more sensible to make a GIF of the animation.

• If there are less than 10 images for an episode, it does not need a separate image gallery because the original article itself is easy to still browse.

• All images should have proper names to make them easier to find and use for all editors across the wiki.

I know this is "just a fanwiki", and we don't all have time to make the best edits all the time, mistakes are human. But we all love this show and enjoy seeing more of it. I've personally worked hard since I started on this wiki to get it back to some sort of quality. I know many of you have too.

So please. I implore you all to keep to some standards. I've been a fan of this show since 2006 and I know it deserves good things - like at least a good fanwiki.

Although not exactly the same Juniper and Jake have very similar premises.

• Juniper protects monsters and demons, Jake protects the magical world

• Both have little siblings who know their secret and at least have some of their power (Ray Ray can see monsters and demons but lacks the strength and agility abilities as Jun, Hailey is also a dragon)

• Their mentors are related to them and are the predecessor of their respective position (June's grandmother was the Te Xuan Ze, Jake's grandfather protected China)

• They both have animal guardians, ironically both are dogs (June had Monroe, Jake has Fu)

• Both have Asian heritage (Jake is Chinese on his mother's side, June is Chinese on her father's side)

There are differences though

• June's core friends don't know about her double life, where Jake's friends do

• June's parents don't know she is a Te Xuan Ze, Jake's mom knows he and Hailey are dragons

• June is the middle of 3 children, Jake is the oldest of 2

I love both shows, I just wanted to point this out.

Meanwhile are there any changes you would like to make on the wiki?

I will think about taking the lock off the protected pages, but while I am busier in the fall, they will remain locked for a bit more. Perhaps during the big school break in October, I will remove the protection on these pages for larger edits from other users.

Hello again! I am back after a long time and I see that the users here have become more active again and that I have missed new and old forum replies. But I'm glad more people are using this wiki again, even if it's been a long time since the show ended and despite general inactivity in the fanbase. If you're a fan of the show and want to use the wiki in good faith, you are welcome to edit and post here any time :)

I also notice there is a bit more spam-like activity on both the editing and forum side of the wiki, so I will start to delete and clean up both starting next week.

If you do not want your post or edit to be removed, please make it relevant! Use your common sense about posting publicly in a public forum, fan stuff or not. It would be nice to foster a real sense of community here, even if we're all just passing by. Forums are for fun, but they can also be nice to read and use.

This means...

• No claiming an extra season or more episodes happened without a real source! Actually, just list that as your FANFIC/HEADCANON/STORY IDEA -because that's what it is. Please do not claim that there are new episodes or crossovers happening unless there's a reputable source behind that. Why? Because we're all fans of the show and yeah, it would be nice to see it come back one day, but getting people's hopes up with a fake claim is just cruel.

• No vandalizing pages. PERIOD. If I see that an account seems to be a bot, I will auto-block it on-sight. If you seem like a real user, you will get 1 warning but will be blocked on repeat offence.

• Title your posts properly. If you want to share your fanwork or just talk about a topic you like about the show, title it accordingly! You can use a short title and if it's fanart/fic you can use square/box brackets [like this] - i.e. "My super-awesome Juniper Lee story" [Fanfic]

• Once again, make it relevant. If it's not about the wiki or the show, or related to either of those somehow, you can use your own blog (which is a feature now) to post about something completely offtopic.

• PLEASE KEEP IT SFW - because while most of us are probably adults (this show is now 18 years old), this is still the web and this wiki should still follow both official "Fandom.com" guidelines, but also our common sense. It is mostly about courtesy online but also, I feel like NSFW content does not really belong on a wiki for a kids cartoon anyway. Again, common sense. These forums are mostly meant for having a community and maybe have some fun games or discussions but it's also about being nice to each other. So lets be nice.

I just want to let you know that you've got one episode in the wrong season. "Dream Date" is the finale for Season 2, while "Party Monsters" is first episode for Season 3. Just throwing it out there.

Hello everyone!

As you can see, Wikia has changed their general site design again. This means this wiki also looks a bit different than it did and some functions or pages/features might be missing or different.

Please have patience while I try to understand what is different and work through these changes slowly to make the wiki more usable again! This entire year has been hard for everyone and this summer also, has been quite difficult on me personally... so I'm slowly coming back to old activities like moderating and editing this wiki. I've been trying to check up every two weeks or so but it's mostly been quiet and peaceful so I've left the wiki to its users to use... so this big change was a bit surprising when it was announced and now seeing it, it feels like things have changed too much, haha,

Of course, you can still edit pages and add images, normal wiki stuff like that, but most notably, the "Recent changes" part of the site has gone somewhere else.... you can find it if you go to the top-right button-menu - the "electric" looking icon is Recent Changes!

So please take these changes in stride while I try to sort it out!

I've decided to marathon this show for the first time and I just have to point out how in the first six episodes THREE songs from the movie "Fame" have appeared. The first episode's karaoke scene has them singing the title song, while "Out Here On My Own" and "I Sing the Body Electric" both appear in the talent show episode.
